Although I don't know the progress Tangradi's made this off-season, he could use a little more time in the A just to fine tune some things. I think this will be good for him, and I'm sure he'll have plenty of opportunities to strut his stuff in the show this year."If nothing else, he'll serve as a place-holder for Eric Tangradi as he continues to mature as the forward-of-the-future."

Agreed that Tangradi needs another half a year / year in the AHL to mature more. Is he NHL material? Absolutely. Is he NHL material today? No. Plus he's last on a list which includes Dustin Jeffrey and Mark Letestu on who is the most NHL ready every way you slice it.
